Henry & Peters was recently honored as the 2016 Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals East Texas Chapter (which represents 10 counties). This is part of a National AFP Philanthropy Day celebration that awards those within the community that have contributed in various ways to the field of philanthropy.
The award recognizes a business or company that has provided direct financial, in-kind or volunteer support to non-profit organizations and charitable projects in East Texas. Exceptional nominees will be diversified in their service to the non-profit sector, often taking leadership roles in encouraging involvement by other businesses.
