Tyler was born in Tyler, TX, and attended Chapel Hill. After high school, Tyler attended the University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler Junior College, and Centenary College of Louisiana, earning an undergraduate degree in Finance while playing baseball for four years. After his undergraduate completion at Centenary, Tyler attended the University of Texas at Tyler and completed his Master of Accountancy before becoming a CPA in 2018.
Tyler joined the Henry & Peters firm as an intern in 2015 before converting to a full-time position in October later that year. He provides audit, review, and compilation services for many industries including not-for-profit, manufacturing, oil & gas, financial institutions, governmental entities, and employee benefit plans.
Tyler has been married to his wife, Taylor, since 2015 and they have one son, Crew Alexander, who joined the family in late 2019. Tyler is a member of Bethel Bible South Campus in Tyler and currently serves as a board director for Therapet, Treasurer for First Tee Greater Tyler, and Treasurer for Kourage Health. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys traveling with his family, golf, and college football Saturdays with friends.
